1 Day Defensive Handgun: This full day course will be a good introduction to defensive firearms training. We will focus on things like improvised shooting positions, moving off line, balancing speed and accuracy, malfunction clearance drills and introducing some stress during live fire training. Material covered: Safety Fundamentals of marksmanship Getting off the x Drawing from holster Improvised shooting positions Strong hand only shooting Required equipment: Semi auto pistol 9mm or above Kydex holster (outside or inside waistband) 300-400rds of ammo Comfortable clothing for outdoor shooting and being in the elements Eye and ear protection Positive attitude and open mind
