ADAPTIVE HANDGUN Part 2: Dynamic Application Joint course between Acumen Tactical & Richardson Precision 9:00 AM–4:00 PM | $150 | Approximately 400–500 Rounds (A 2 day bundle option is available for students who wish to attend both days of training at a discounted price) *Available in the plans and pricing section Accuracy is only one part of the equation. Part 2 of Adaptive Handgun takes the precision developed in Part 1 and introduces the speed, movement, transitions, and decision-making required to perform with a handgun in more dynamic shooting problems. Students will work through progressively challenging drills involving: • Multiple-target engagements and transitions • Timed performance standards • Drawing from the holster • Balancing Speed and Accuracy • Reloads • Shooting at varying distances • Shooting while moving • Dynamic pistol manipulations • Combining movement, speed, and accuracy • Achieving Performance Standards Under Pressure The objective is not simply to shoot faster. Students will learn to recognize when speed is appropriate, when precision takes priority, and how to adapt their shooting process as the problem changes. Expect a high-round-count training day designed to challenge your ability to maintain accuracy and accountability while adding speed, movement, and complexity. Round Count: Approximately 400–500 rounds Cost: $150 Required Equipment: • 9mm Pistol or above - Full or Mid Size Handguns Recommended • Quality Kydex holster that securely retains the handgun. (No nylon holsters permitted) • Minimum 2 magazines; 3+ recommended, more is always better • Magazine carriers recommended • Eye and ear protection
