Service Description
The ability to shoot accurately while moving is an important skill for both defensive and competitive shooters, but effective movement is about much more than simply walking while pressing the trigger. This workshop focuses on developing the fundamentals of efficient movement, understanding how terrain affects performance, and learning how to maintain accuracy and control while your environment changes. Conducted on private property with naturally varying terrain, this workshop moves beyond the traditional flat range environment. Uneven ground, changes in elevation, and inconsistent footing can all affect balance, speed, stability, and your ability to deliver accurate hits. Techniques that work on a perfectly flat range may need to be adjusted when the terrain changes. This workshop will teach you how to recognize those challenges and adapt your movement accordingly. The goal is not simply to move faster. The goal is to move with purpose, maintain control, and make better decisions based on the environment around you. Training Topics Include: * Fundamentals of shooting while moving * Efficient footwork and body mechanics * Forward, rearward, and lateral movement * Balancing speed and accuracy * Maintaining visual discipline while moving * Managing movement on uneven terrain * Adjusting movement based on footing and environmental conditions * Entering and exiting shooting positions * Understanding when to move versus when to stabilize * Performance-based drills and standards Course Details: Duration: 3 Hours Round Count: Approximately 150 rounds Skill Level: Intermediate Class Size: Limited to 6 students Tuition: $125 Required Equipment: * Reliable handgun * Strong-side OWB or AIWB holster that completely covers the trigger guard * Quality gun belt * Minimum of 3 magazines * Magazine carrier or spare magazine storage * Eye and ear protection * Approximately 150 rounds of factory ammunition * Weather-appropriate clothing and footwear suitable for outdoor terrain Why Only Six Students? This workshop is intentionally limited to six participants to provide a high level of individual coaching and feedback. Movement-based shooting requires close observation, repetition, and immediate correction to develop efficient habits while maintaining safety and accountability. A smaller class size allows each student more opportunities to train, receive coaching, and improve. Train beyond the flat range. Develop the ability to adapt.
