Carbine 1: Fundamentals Duration: 4 Hours (Half Day) Tuition: $125 Course Description Carbine 1: Fundamentals is designed to establish the foundational skills necessary to safely and effectively operate a modern sporting rifle. Through structured drills and instructor-led coaching, students will develop proficiency in weapon handling, manipulations, and marksmanship. Topics Covered * Safety and range procedures * Equipment setup and considerations * Zero confirmation * Ready positions * Rifle presentation * Fundamental marksmanship * Recoil management * Emergency reloads * Basic malfunction clearances * Accuracy and accountability standards Equipment Requirements * Semi-automatic carbine * Two-point sling (required) * Minimum of three magazines * Magazine carriers (recommended) * Eye and ear protection Ammunition Requirements * 200–250 rounds Prerequisites: None
