Carbine 2: Application Duration: 8 Hours (Full Day) Tuition: $225 Course Description Carbine 2: Application builds upon the skills developed in Carbine 1 and focuses on applying those skills in more dynamic shooting problems. Students will learn to efficiently employ their rifle while managing movement, positional challenges, weapon transitions, and time constraints. Topics Covered * Skill validation and refinement * Multiple target engagements * Movement * Rifle-to-pistol transitions * Positional shooting * Unconventional shooting positions * Reloads and malfunctions under pressure * Problem-solving exercises * Performance standards and evaluation Equipment Requirements * Semi-automatic carbine * Two-point sling (required) * Minimum of three magazines * Semi-automatic handgun * Quality holster * Minimum of two handgun magazines * Eye and ear protection Ammunition Requirements * 500 rounds total * Approximately 400 rounds carbine * Approximately 100 rounds handgun Prerequisite: Carbine 1 or equivalent training
