Cold Standards: One-Day Pistol Accountability (Hosted by Windrock Range & Training Center, Oliver Springs TN) Most shooters don’t actually know how good—or how inconsistent—they are. They train warm. They train familiar drills. They measure progress emotionally instead of objectively. This course removes the guesswork. Cold Standards is a one-day performance pistol course built around measurable execution, not round count or range theatrics. Students will be evaluated on their ability to deliver accurate first shots, repeatable fundamentals, and controlled speed—starting cold and under clear standards. This is not a class where everyone “does fine.” This is a class where performance is defined, observed, and documented. ⸻ What This Course Focuses On • Cold draw to first shot accountability • Practical accuracy at speed • Grip, trigger, and visual discipline under time • Identifying where performance actually breaks down • Closing the gap between perceived skill and real output Every drill has a purpose. Every rep has intent. If something fails, we isolate it and fix it. ⸻ Standards & Measurement You will be measured against published performance benchmarks. Some students pass them. Some don’t. Both outcomes are valuable—but only if you’re honest about where you stand.
